ÉDRACCÉA
Équipe de Développement et de Recherche d’Actions Collaboratives en Contexte Éducatif Autochtone

Qui sommes-nous

The team for the development and research of collaborative actions in an Aboriginal educational context (ÉDRACCÉA) is unique in the field of education in Quebec; it is made up of researchers from five Quebec universities, various collaborators, including students, who all come from Quebec and Chile.

These partners are committed to a common goal: the development of school, community, and intercommunity work strategies in response to needs expressed by Indigenous communities in Quebec and Chile. This theme rallies most of the members of the ÉDRACCÉA around a common concern, namely the logic of security and cultural relevance.

It is important to note that the team favours a participatory approach to developing innovative partnerships in order to offer programs and services that are better adapted to Aboriginal realities.

The three axes

The objective of ÉDRACCÉA is divided into three distinct axes. These axes guide the work of researchers and collaborators and are structured around the following themes: partnership, school curriculum, initial and continuing education, identity, territory, language and culture.

Axe 1
